The original post windmill was built in 1848 by Carl Friedrich Kanold on the outskirts of the village of Lindennaundorf. In 2009, the remains of the historic mill were completely dismantled by the committed members of the Frankenheim-Lindennaundorf home association. The mill was then built and restored on what is today the Frankenheim-Lindennaundorf festival meadow. It was officially inaugurated on the 17th German Mill Day 2010. The post mill is fully functional and wind powered. After 60 years, the mill blades turn back in Lindennaundorf.

Bockwindmühle with a shotgun, squeezer and roller mill (Bachmann and Reiter), elevator and sifter - wind-driven and electrically operated. Built in 1848, owned by the Bude family since 1927, until 1975, then private milling until 1990. Acquisition by the Heimatverein in 2009. In the course of the urgently needed refurbishment, the mill was moved to the new festival grounds of the village and completely renovated. The reopening of the monument was the Dt. Mill Day 2010.

Looking at a mill is always worth a drive. In Saxony there are many mills. This is well preserved.
