The clean and beautifully situated beach is open in the season (from early May to early September) daily from 10-20 clock. Since 2018 there is also a sauna.
Cycle and boat tourists can camp on a secluded meadow in the beach (2018: 2 € per person, 2 € per tent). Very clean toilets and a sink with warm water!
At the neighboring campsite there are hot showers (50 cents) and the possibility to order bread rolls.

The beach offers bathing pleasure and more for the whole family.
Here you can not just swim or the natural landscape
but also canoe and rowboat, beach volleyball or play
stay overnight at the bivouac. Especially the smaller guests
enjoy the barefoot path and a playground. A waterslide is the new highlight.
A snack with chips, bratwurst, coke and ice cream is also guaranteed.

This is where I first read about the "Blue Paradise", the 590 km detour from the Havel via the Elbe, Elde, Müritz and Müritz-Havel waterway back to the Havel. We did it in August 2020: komoot.de/collection/1005268/-havelumfahrt-2020
Unfortunately, the municipality intends to close the beautiful beach.
