A named after the Oberforstrath Gottlob king rock formation, which worked around Eisenach and counts to one of the most important personalities of the forest science of the 19. Century.
On top of the rock is a small seating area. The view is limited, but is still a nice alternative route with additional height meters for the lower part of the Landgrafen canyon.

The entrance to the Königsfelsen is easy to miss, so keep your eyes open.👀 Be sure to go all the way up, there is a great view and a seating area to linger on.❗️
