Don't do like us and take the official route. Apparently it costs €25 p.p. because only possible with a guide. But yes, then you respect the rules of the national park. We descend from the “summit” in the direction of the bay because a tip in an app tempted us to do so, and a hiking trail is also marked in Komoot. Since there was no information board or prohibition anywhere, we were surprised when a guide politely informed us and sent us back. It was nice anyway 🤣

Vandring

I recommend avoiding the trail leading to Poggio Stefano to avoid the risk of being reported. The trail lies within a protected area, and accessing it without authorization from the National Park is considered a criminal offense under the Presidential Decree of May 17, 1996. The same applies to anyone hiking the trail to Cala Coticcio without an authorized guide.
