Lower Saxony's first moor ground station is located in Bad Zwischenahn.
In Bad Zwischenahner Moor, more precisely in Kayhausen, is Lower Saxony's only "Moor ground station" so far. The “Moor soil station” was set up as a joint project of the environmental education center and the Lower Soil Protection Authority of the Ammerland district, the Kurbetriebsgesellschaft Bad Zwischenahn mbH and the Bad Zwischenahn Association for Home Care.
