From the center of Neustadt you can cycle between the tracks and the marine area and then get to the street "Am Holm", from where you have a nice view of the maritime facilities and the adjacent marina in some places. In a way, this is Neustadt "from behind". :-)
This route is also recommended as a bike path between Neustadt and Sierksdorf so that you don't have to drive along the major roads.

In 1244, Neustadt was founded by Count Adolf IV as the "new town of Altenkrempe." Today, the town enjoys a naturally privileged location between water and forest in the Ostholstein district, directly on the Baltic Sea. The garrison town is more than 750 years old, charming, and full of life.
