Cykling
The Märschendorfer Lakes are - in my impression - fishing lakes lined with taller trees.
Instead of a gentle smack of the waves rolling out on the lakeshore, the traffic rolling over the nearby A1 motorway can be heard quite clearly.
But if you imagine the waves with a bit of imagination, you will be able to cope with this background noise very well.

Cykling
The path leads over packed gravel along the lake and is easy to drive.
A good alternative to the main street.
