There is a museum for borders and agriculture in town, where the history of the double village is presented in an exhibition. The museum is open on Sundays from April to October from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. But you can also contact the Border Museum team outside of opening hours. It is open to groups as far as possible (the museum is run by a volunteer association)

Here you can still see the traces of the division of Germany. A visit to the small museum in Böckwitz and the former border guards, about 1 km away in the direction of Kaiserwinkel, is recommended.
