De Weltevreden is a flour mill in Domburg.
This flour mill was built in 1817, replacing an earlier post mill on the same site. In 1963 there were plans to convert the mill into a house, but no permit was granted. The then municipality of Domburg bought the mill in 1970 and had it thoroughly restored.
With a height of more than 22 meters, this mill is clearly visible, although the buildings in the area have already somewhat enclosed the mill.

The Weltevreden windmill was a source of inspiration for many painters who worked in Domburg, such as Toorop and Mondrian. It is a stone groundsail that dates back to 1817 and has since undergone some thorough restorations. The mill belongs to the municipality of Veere.
Rare is the construction of the wheel. The spokes are not perpendicular to the Munnik, but protrude slightly backwards at an angle. With a height of over 22 meters, this mill is clearly visible. The mill can be visited when the knives are turning.
