It all began in 1040, when Abbot Arnold acquired the brewing and drinking rights from the city of Freising. Since then, Bavaria's world-famous cultural heritage has been brewed in these glorious halls - longer than anywhere else on earth.
In the beer garden of the Braustube, the beer brewed next door can be enjoyed together with typical Bavarian snacks. Interested parties can also take part in a brewery tour.
