    From the “Ochsenstiegl” observation tower at a height of 622 m, approx. 3 km south of Thurmansbang, you have a wonderful view to the north over the town of Thurmansbang and the mountains of the Bavarian Forest, starting on the left from Brotjacklriegel to Rachel, Lusen and Dreisessel. To the south you can see the Danube Valley when the weather is good and even the Alps when the weather is good.
    The “Ochsenstiegl” can be reached via hiking trail no. 64.
