Fritzlar is a beautiful city with a medieval city center, which is still largely surrounded by the 2.7 kilometer-long city wall. Even some of the defensive towers are still preserved, such as the "Gray Tower", from which you can enjoy a fantastic view of the city. If you roll through the city, you will be impressed.

A visit to the old town of Fritzlar is like traveling back in time to the Middle Ages. The half-timbered ensemble in the center of the village is a popular photo opportunity. Some of the most beautiful and oldest half-timbered houses far and wide can be found here. Many of the buildings have been carefully and professionally renovated so that you can hardly tell that they have been here for several centuries.
