This forest is what's left over of the state trying to develop a lumber industry on the island. As a result it's a very planned forest with straight paths. It's ok on a sturdy bike but not great for a real road bike. Reminds me of Miles Standish State Forest in Plymouth

How long is the entire bike path system within the forest?

The Manuel F. Correllus State Forest Bike Path system offers approximately 14 miles of both paved and unpaved trails. This allows for various route options and lengths, depending on your preference for a shorter loop or a longer exploration.
