The Hermansdorf cycle path runs above the edge of the lake and you can always take a look at the water. Flooding began in 2018 and after about six years the nature conservation lake should be filled with an area of 256 hectares.

Cykling
The lake is currently flooded and should be ready in 2023-2025. Because of the surrounding fence, this is the only place where you can catch a glimpse of the future lake. But it can be guessed that it will be a scenic gem. Since you don't see too much yet, a few drone photos.
