Cykling
A unique number of old villas, picturesque old town and museums. That's enough for a vacation. You also have a connection to the Franconian Forest, which I call a stronghold for hikers. The low mountain range Franconian Switzerland, Fichtelgebirge and Haßberge are also nearby.

Nowadays the market place is predominantly a place of enjoyment and relaxation. The once-full-size cars that polluted the air have been banished. Tourists and Kulmbacher stroll past the Luitpold fountain, look towards the renovated clubhouse opposite, to the baroque town hall facade or up to Plassenburg. Others populate the colorful seating set up by the Italian ice cream parlor and adjoining restaurants. On Wednesday morning and on Saturday morning the place is, however, its since 1135 existing market function:
