I drove the route from Trier to Erdorf yesterday. The section from Ehrang to Kordel has become free again and is very beautiful, the blockage at the Kuckuckslay railway tunnel has been lifted. From Kordel you have to switch to the Daufenbacher side; from here it goes on to Kyllburg. The trains run between Trier and Kyllburg, it does not go any further due to construction sites due to flood damage.

If you want to go to Kordel from Hüttingen, the signpost goes over the Kyll to the left bank of the Kyll shortly after Daufenbach. When you get to the Kyll, there is no bridge anymore; the flood has removed it. The only option is to ride the last few kilometers to Kordel on the road.

Some of the cycle path closures have been lifted (as of mid-May 2022). Some of the diversion signs were still hanging, but the barriers were then off to the side. However, if you have to cross a railway line, this is usually not possible.
