On the site of the cult or sacrificial site there is an observation tower that allows you to overlook the ring sanctuary from above. It is nice to see the individual circles of the wooden palisades from this angle.
There is the opportunity to have a drink in the visitor center (note opening times).

Vandring
The ring sanctuary of Pommelte is very interesting and provides information about the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age.
The open air museum is always freely accessible all year round.
A recommendation from us:
Be sure to visit the Salzland Museum in Schönebeck beforehand!
There are 2 very interesting films about the history to be seen and of course exhibits that have been excavated.

Vandring
An almost 4300 year old cult place. Various religious rituals were celebrated here. The German Stonehenge surprises with convincing findings of the Stone Age bell jar and Bronze Age Aunitzitzer culture.
