Pilgrimage Church of Maria Vespers
In the pilgrimage church Maria Vesperbild. Every year around 400,000 pilgrims visit the miraculous image of Our Lady of Sorrows.
The church was built around 1750 in the Rococo style, inside is the high altar, which was already carved in the 17th century.
Mary sadly holds her dead son on her lap and points with one hand to heaven for help, while Jesus points with his finger to the altar as a source of strength.
