Jeong Yak-yong, a representative thinker of the late Joseon Dynasty, was implicated in a Shinyu office building in 1801 (Sunjo 1), while living in exile in Guiyang with Gangjin, and moved to this second place, which was the calculation of Yun Gyu-ro in 1808. He lived for about 10 years until he was released from Guiyang in 1818.
