Located at 2770 meters above sea level, the Col d'Iseran is the highest European asphalt pass. There are magnificent views of Val-d'Isère and the Maurienne. Egan Bernal won his Tour de France 2019 with tremendous action at this summit.

At the Col de l'Iseran, at an altitude of over 2,764 meters, you'll be rubbing shoulders with giants. This pass is, in fact, the highest road pass in the Alps. In other words, it's a legendary destination for all experienced cyclists! It's only about ten meters higher than Italy's impressive Stelvio Pass, which peaks at 2,758 meters. Enjoy this unique moment and the satisfaction before the beautiful descent ahead.

At 2,764 meters, the Col de l'Iseran is the highest Alpine pass of all. And that is exactly what makes it unique: while you are surrounded by high peaks on many other pass heights, you almost seem to be at eye level with them on the Col de l'Iseran. However, the approach via the north side is only really fun from Val d'Isère. Because up to the ski resort the road is quite busy. Of course, ski tourism has also left its mark on the landscape.
