Really great lock system - still in the renovation process. Great views of the Saaleauen. Do not forget to visit the small gardens below the castle wall!

The castle was begun in 1539-1539 to build the castle in the style of the Renaissance. The castle is a must for visitors of Bernburg, and at the Saale a fantastic view.
