Extensive pasture area with various hiking trails. A shuttle bus runs between Reit im Winkel and the Hindenburghütte. Magnificent view of the Chiemsee and the surrounding mountains.

...take the shuttle bus to the Hindenburg Hut, where you can have half a litre of isotonic drink to gain some strength and then do a 2-hour circular hike: Anna Chapel, once through the Hemmersuppenalm and then through the forest back to the Hindenburg Hut. Easy to walk, a circular hike with relatively little elevation gain. Also easy for "walkers".

The Hemmersuppenalm is a large alpine pasture in the Reit im Winkl forest in the Reit im Winkl municipality. The Hemmersuppenalm is divided into the Lower and Upper Hemmersuppenalm. Numerous barracks on the alpine pasture are listed and listed on the Bavarian Monument List.
The name of the Hemmersuppenalm derives from the White Germer, which is locally called Hemmer. The plant is poisonous and is not eaten by cattle.
