    Dilsberg Castle was built in the middle of the 12th century. In 1208, the castle was first mentioned in documents as "Dilighesberch". In 1300 the castle falls to the Electoral Palatinate and in 1368 Dilsberg becomes a town. 1822/26 she is released for demolition. Around 1895, the castle ruins Dilsberg is partially restored.
