Cykling
was inaugurated as part of the Flörsheim curb on October 19, 1975. It took its name from a previous fountain (1964–1965), to which a milestone with a Berlin bear and the distance to Berlin was added. The new building had made it necessary to lay an oil pipeline from Rotterdam for Frankfurt Airport.
