In 2015 Birthe Leemeijer designs the ice fountain for Dokkum. A gift because Leeuwarden-Fryslân is European Capital of Culture in 2018. All eleven cities in Friesland receive this gift from the 11fountains project. dokkum.nl/ijsfontein

You just have to see it. Above, fog rises like clouds from a volcano and in many places the work of art is covered with hoarfrost or ice 👌

The IJsfontein (Ice Fountain) was quite interesting to look at; there was actually a layer of ice there.
