The chapel was inaugurated in 2011 and is obviously very popular. This can easily be seen from the large number of candles that are lit and set up by visitors.
The chapel is made of sandstone, the style of which can be attributed to the few workshops that still exist on the Bavarian Lower Main. The windows were made according to historical models with handcrafted flat glass, which is set in lead frames. The valuable statue of Mary is secured by a floor-to-ceiling, historically crafted iron grille. Benches in the anteroom invite you to linger and contemplate.
