Beautiful square just outside the city walls. A stone's throw from the town hall with an interesting obelisk in the center.

Bellinzona is the capital of Ticino. In the old town you will find impressive castles, especially the Castelgrande, and many great squares with a Mediterranean flair. The city is surrounded by high mountains that are still covered in snow in spring and autumn, but the climate is still very warm. Great place!
