Agriculture plays an important role in this area. While the fruit plays the decisive role in the fruit hill country next door, in the Eferdinger country it is the vegetables. Cucumbers, lettuce or asparagus - all of these grow here on a large scale. And a large part of it is packed in canned goods: The “Eferdinger Konserven” factory is one of the largest buyers of agricultural products. Even if that sounds somehow unromantic: It's very beautiful and rural-idyllic here;)

Wonderful landscapes. Most beautiful when the trees are in bloom. Snow-capped mountains and lush green fields. You should plan a lot of time for this tour.
