The symbol of the city, the "stone bag" stands west of the city on a rocky plateau. The round tower, about 13 meters high, stands on a limestone cliff and formed the northernmost part of Waischenfeld Castle, which has long ceased to exist. The castle and tower were probably built in the 13th century.
