About 1 km from Maasholm there is a stone column made of granite on the Hegeberg with the inscription: "This is where the 10th meridian runs. Maasholm - Hamburg - Tunis".

At the highest point on the edge of the village of Maasholm there is a stone pillar with the 10th degree of longitude marking. From here you have a wonderful panoramic view. And there are various information boards on the history of Maasholm and the origin of the landscape.
