Bridges are always something special on a bike tour. Especially when they cross the Isar. Because then you have a clear view of this beautiful river with its turquoise blue water and the white gravel on the bank. This wooden bridge just before Lenggries invites you to take a short break.

From here you have a great view in both directions and with luck you can also see rafting or inflatable boats.

We-on-Tour

If you are coming from Tegernsee (and have enough time on your tour), we recommend a detour from Mühle (nice beer garden) to Obergries, where a bridge crosses the Isar. On the other side of the river, you then take a beautiful section (gravel path) to Bad Tölz. You can also incorporate this section into your tour in the opposite direction.
