    Cecilia Island Tower Hill Castle
The approximately 3 m high castle hill once had a wooden tower, of which unfortunately nothing remains. An interesting, historical place in the middle of the forest.

It is always amazing how many relics from earlier times still exist. So you meet here in the middle of the forest on two ring walls of former tower hill castles. Southeast to Borstorf there are more and all these are probably just fragments of everything that has ever been here.

I would not have expected to find such a great monument here in the middle of the forest. I really like the preparation of the archaeological monuments in Schleswig Holstein.
You can find many beautifully made boards and in many places people also take care of the preservation of the historical places. From my point of view, it worked really well here.
