Nordic walking
The source or the source area of the Wupper includes approx. 27 - 37 smaller springs, depending on the season, precipitation and temperature situation. These springs, which come to light in a raised bog that is under nature protection, are near the village of Börlinghausen near Marienheide. Here the Wupper is still called the Wipper. At the junction of the many springs, a 'Wupper Spring' sign points to this beginning.

The Napoleons Bridge is an arch bridge built between 1846 and 1849 over the Wupper in Müngsten between the cities of Solingen and Remscheid at the mouth of the Morsbach. It is placed under protection as an architectural monument.
