Best enjoyed as a climb up onto Lansdown, take Lansdown Lane from the gorgeous village of Upton Cheyney. You'll climb gradually on the road for a while, before going through a series of three farm gates and onto the golden gravel of the Cotswolds. It can be a technical climb when wet, but fairly easy-going in dry conditions. Nearing the top, another gate will take you into the Lansdown Golf Course where you can join the Cotswold Way.

Nice double track up onto top of landsdown, by the golf course, that leads into some nice single track in the woods next to the golf course. From here you can either ride parallel to the golf course and head back down to North Stoke, if you just want a little loop, or head north across the main landsdown road to pick up other Xross lane trails.

Cheeky little bridleway, nice and smooth and hard pack a nice one to add in if you're taking your road bike off-road or just exploring with a gross/gravel bike. Nice views across the valley before you turn in.
