Castle Burgdorf is a building built in 1643 as a Amtshaus, today it serves as an administrative headquarters as well as a venue for music concerts.

Cykling
The old half-timbered castle is located on the edge of the Burgdorf city park. Today it is used as the administrative building of the city of Burgdorf (the city council meets in the large meeting room of the castle). The castle can be visited and from time to time classical castle concerts take place there. Not as big and imposing as other castles (for example Celle or Gifhorn).
