Untouched nature, rugged rock valleys and extensive Jurahochflächen offer ideal conditions for every taste and every level of difficulty. The hiker is accompanied by many man-made and traditional buildings. It is the land of bizarre rock formations, valleys, caves and mills. The castle Pottenstein lies high on a rock massif. From the surrounding plateaus you have a great view of the castle and the rock town of Pottenstein.
