The Brockenbahn is the only narrow-gauge railway in Germany that has its terminus on a summit with an alpine climate. For 41 euros, she brings lazy and romantic railroaders up and down again. A route is available for 26 euros.

The Harz narrow-gauge railway is a must - not only for railway enthusiasts. The trip up to the Brocken in the Harz Mountains is something very extraordinary and highly recommended. Big and none have their fun at the same time!

For most hikers the first breather after the more or less strenuous climb. Various small stone projections and the width of this place invite you to take a break.
The HSB locomotive is regularly reassigned to the top of the tracks. A nice spectacle.
