Blackcraig Castle is one of the finest examples of Baronial architecture in Scotland. Built in 1856 by artist and architect Patrick Allan Fraser, the mansion is designated as a Class B-listed building and the walled garden is A-listed. Unfortunately, the castle is not open for tourists to explore but there are apartments to hire within the building. For more information, visit: blackcraigcastle.com.
