A small stone marks the geographic center of Baden-Württemberg south of Böblingen. This is the mean of the northernmost, easternmost, southernmost and westernmost extreme values that Baden-Württemberg has to offer. These are the town of Wertheim in the north, the community of Dischingen in the east, the community of Grenzach-Wyhlen in the south and the community of Efringen-Kirchen in the west. In addition, there are a number of other methods of investigation that do not come out here in the middle of the forest south of Böblingen.
