1988 After the construction of the dam on the bank of the Agluona River, the development of a rural recreation zone - Agluonėnai Park - was started. The planting of the Lietuvininkai oak grove was started and the monument-altar of Gediminai columns (sculptor Justinas Mickevičius) was built on the poured hill to mark the 450th anniversary of Agluonėnai settlement and the national revival of Lithuania.
