Starting from the lane that links Hinton and Marshfield, this section of the Cotswold Way is a bridleway, and takes you along the field margin next to the hedge to start.

On a clear day, look out for the wind turbines and the Severn Bridge across to Wales in the distance.

At the end of the field, the way turns right for a short climb along the edge of the next field to cross the main road.
