From Reinthal, an eastward connection path leads to the Hachtsee stud farm and directly past the lake. If you want to get to the eastern shore of the lake, you have to leave this path and move about 50 meters across country. At this point, the lake itself is a freely accessible natural body of water where you can also swim. The western bank belongs to the area of the stud farm Hachtsee and is restricted.
