Between the Niederelbehütte and the Darmstädter Hütte on difficult paths that can only be walked in good weather conditions, you have to cross the Schneidjöchl. If the weather doesn't play along, you shouldn't walk this trail. It is best to ask at the hut whether the path is clear. Otherwise, the alternative route over the Seßladjoch should be taken.

The Hoppe-Seyler-Weg, from the Darmstädter to the Niederelbehütte is a very beautiful, but not to be underestimated mountain path with many beautiful views. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you shouldn't take this path - it's best to ask at the hut whether the path is clear. Otherwise take the alternative route over the Seßladjoch.

Vandring
The ascent from Darmstädter Hütte to Schneidjöchl takes about two hours, requires surefootedness and a head for heights, as well as sturdy shoes. But the view is definitely worth it!
