Vandring
The port was extensively rebuilt in 2021, the sheet piling was raised so that there is space for 2 cruise ships again. There are some booths on the right side of the harbor and 2 fishing boats (Jasmund and Berta) in the front area. In 2022 a historic lighthouse was built at the port. There are several restaurants. The harbor is approached by the narrow-gauge railway "Rasender Roland" and the "Preßnitztalbahn" (Lauterbach Mole), the water holiday world in Jaich is just around the corner. From here the MS Julchen starts its trips to the island of Vilm.

Lauterbach harbor is definitely worth it. A combination of actual use and some tourism. Simply beautiful and not so massively overcrowded.

The port of Lauterbach is a great destination: several restaurants and 2 fish stalls are here, as is the Rügener pasta factory. The raging Roland also stops at Lauterbach station. The MS Julchen, which takes visitors to the island of Vilm, is also in the harbour.
