Spectacular castle built on a rock split in the middle on the mountainside above the village of San Vittore in the lower Misox. Documentary mentions are missing. The complex may have been built in the 12th century. founded as the seat of a local noble family and came in the 13th century. to the Sax-Misox. They are considered to be the builders of the slim tower, which, however, was not habitable all year round due to the lack of a heating system.
