Llyn Rhys campsite is perfectly situated for exploring the mountains of North-East Wales, either on foot or by bike. It's really close to the mountain biking trail centre of Llandegla and within driving distance of the Clwydian Range, plus there's clay pigeon shooting, fisheries, laser combat and the North Wales Gliding Club all closeby.
You'll also find the Crown Hotel in the village a short walk away so there's always a refreshing drink and meal nearby if campsite cookery is not your forte!

Cykling
Lovely quiet campsite on a farm. Very accommodating host who welcomes cyclists. Currently the pub closest hasn't opened since the covid lockdowns so make sure you have food supplies. Other pubs in the area but check food service as they do not operate all week.
