Vandring
The "höpfigheimer Schlössle" is a facility worth seeing that was built in the High Middle Ages and expanded into a castle in the 16th century!

Vandring
The round tower made of quarry stones probably dates from the earliest times because the Höpfigheim local authority had its own jurisdiction and it serves as a local prison. It had no defense function. In 1820 the camera office in Marbach sold the tower, known as the "prison", for 25 guilders to the municipality of Höpfigheim, which continued to use it as a "spot prison". In 1855, she sold the tower, because it was dilapidated, to a Höpfigheimer, who did not demolish it for reasons of cost.
