The old bridgehead looks a bit battered. Putting a new bridge on it will be very expensive. Maintaining and expanding the old Weiltalbahn route would boost tourism in this structurally weak area and create new jobs. A great route for hikers and cyclists.

It is interesting to unexpectedly come across historical remains on a hike, such as the old route of the Weiltalbahn in this area.
According to Wikipedia, the valley bridge near Mönstadt was 124 meters long and was demolished in 1974 because no one could find a way to preserve the rusting structure.
