Built in 1834 by the famous architect Cesare Costa as the oratory of the Coccapani villa (later destroyed), in 1984 it was transformed into an Orthodox church.
For some years it has become the point of reference for communities coming in particular from Eastern Europe.
Very intimate interior but has nothing to envy to the largest and most sumptuous oriental churches it is definitely worth a visit and if you happen to meet the Pope, it will be a moment of cultural study as well as enjoyable,

Beautiful Orthodox church located in the Modena East area; if you are lucky you will be greeted by a very nice Pope who will tell you the history of this structure, from the events of the Second World War to today.
