Today's Protestant church was built in the 13th century. It is a stone church with additional brickwork. The west tower is 35 m high.

About 400 people live in Brodowin. Contrary to the trend, the place has grown by about ten percent since the fall of the Wall in 1990. The Demeter farm Ökodorf Brodowin is located in the village of Brodowin with over 1,200 hectares of agricultural land.

Two larger-than-life angel figures rediscovered under layers of paint and plaster are particularly impressive. The faces could not be reconstructed, but maybe that is what makes the special magic that emanates from these figures
